The blog title is your blog’s name, and it should be related to your niche or website. There are many examples of websites that were the name of a popular keyword, and they get ranked soon. Examples of these types of sites are foodpanda and zameen.com. Many sites do similar work.In short, Include your main keyword in the title of your blog.
if you are a Blogspot user, you just have to go to the settings and enable your meta description option because the meta description is the area where you have to put your main keywords for which you want to rank your website. For example, here is my blog’s screenshot below, and there you can see my meta description where I have used all the keywords for which I want to rank my blog.
So, here is the way to find keywords according to your blog’s niche.
How to Find Keywords for your Blog?
To find the keywords for your meta description. Go to google.com and search the main keyword of your blog and look for the search-related queries at the bottom of the page. Add keywords in your meta description for which you are interested in writing your articles or think they are related to your blog.
This is the question which many people asked me before. So, my answer is, you should write everything about your blog’s Niche.
You should schedule your future blog post for next month by searching on Google the questions about your blog’s Niche, and you’ll get hundreds and thousands of results. If this is, this is not enough for you.
You can also go to Quora.com, where the people ask many of the questions about your Niche, and they want answers. So you should write their answers as your blog post and share them with the URL of your article, and it will also increase your backlinks from Quora and help you get ranked on the topmost results.So, now you have learned how to find the keywords related to your blog. Some people ask me how bloggers rank on google, how long does it takes to rank on google, and does google still support bloggers?
My answer is there are a lot of people who are working on blogger and earning from it. They do SEO. As I will teach you in this post, there is nothing like rocket science. In 2018 google did some blogger updates and removed some plugins from it, and people come to think that Google will close blogger soon, but it’s not the fact. It was just to update blogspot.com.
There are plenty of people who say that they don’t even see a blogger site in top results. Do they know about new blogger custom templates? Now, there are custom templates available that will look like a proper WordPress site. So, in short, bloggers still alive and will be.
Errors and redirects do not impact SEO. I included this in the list because the visitors who click on your blog’s link and find a 404 Redirection Error on your web page will destroy your site’s audience retention and bounce rate. Every time you delete any of your articles, make sure to add custom redirects on those URLs.
To add 404 Errors or custom redirects, you just have to go to the settings, and the second section is 404 Error redirection. From here, you will redirect that not found URL to another post.
After you have done these basic settings, you should add your website to webmaster tools like google webmaster, bing webmaster, and yahoo webmaster tools.
You have to add your website in google webmasters tools to let Google bots index your website faster. If you want to index your site in search engines and want it to appear in search results, you have to add it to the webmaster.
It is so simple to add your website to the webmaster’s tools. Here is how to do it.
To add your blog in google webmasters tools, you have to click on the link below and follow the instructions.Google Webmasters Tools.
1. Click on Add a new site, and a pop window will appear like this.
You just have to put your site’s URL there and click on continue. As I am using a specific URL, I added it in the URL prefix tab, but if you want your full blog to be indexed, you should add it in the Domain tab.
2. After clicking on continue, you have to verify that it’s your blog. In a blog spot, it’s too much easy to do. Just copy the HTML tag, which is the second verification option, as in the image below,w and paste it inside the head tag of your blog.
To add it to the head tag, you have to go to blogspot.com and click on the sidebar theme. Then search for edit as HTML button and click on it. In the end, paste that code after finding the head tag the same as in the image.
3. After you have submitted your blog to google’s webmaster’s tools, make sure to submit its sitemap. You can find your blog’s sitemap by adding atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500 like my blog’s site map URL is Sitemap.
Excellent work, you have just done the basic things which are compulsory for SEO.
In this way, you have to add your blog to yahoo, bing, and Alexa search engines.
After adding your blog to the webmaster’s tools, the next thing you have to do is to stop google, bing, yahoo, or any search engine bot from crawling unrelated content.
So, here is the example of robots.txt
Let me explain to you these lines 1 by 1.
These two tags will not allow any search engine to index my pages with tags. As you know that Google does not like duplicate content on your blog. So, this is for blocking the bots from indexing duplicate pages.
This tag will not allow google bot to index my search pages as if someone searches blogging on my blog, it will generate a URL like https://blog.knucklecare.com/?s=blogging, so it will index more duplicate pages that’s why I am blocking them to index.
These are the last two lines. These two lines are allowing google bots to index my blog’s sitemap. The sitemap is a page where bots can find the URLs of each and everything of your blog.
My job is to help beginners so that they can earn from blogging. That’s why I am explaining each and everything. Custom robot tags are almost like robots.txt, but they have some more functionalities. In robots.txt, we have blocked robots from indexing duplicate data on our site. Now it’s time to let google bots know what to index and what not.

As you can see in the image above, I am allowing all robots to index my homepage but do not allow them to index the dp of my page. I have enabled the No index option in tags and archives, which will not let robots index these pages. In the last, I am allowing custom robots tags for the posts and pages to be indexed but block to index their DP.
After you have done almost everything now, it needs to add some meta tags in your blog’s HTML code.
For this, login to your blog and click on the theme. Then search for edit as HTML button and click it. When you click edit as HTML, the whole code of your blog will appear. Then you just have to paste your meta tags in the head tag.
head tag means <head>. Search for <head> tag and paste the given code below after adding your blog’s proper description and title.
<meta content=’Write you blog’s description here’ name=’Description’/>
<meta content=’Write your main keywords here’ name=’Keywords’>
</meta>You just have to write a description in the 1st line and main keywords in the 2nd line and then paste both of the HTML code lines under the <head> word[tag].
Now, I will talk about the tips that are also helpful for WordPress, Weebly, or other users.
You should add the main keyword of your blog posts in the title. I will recommend you to place the main keyword 1st in your title and then other words. Otherwise, you can add it anywhere in the title. It will tell the search engines on which topic you have written that post.
Use this option, too, because, in WordPress, you have to install plugins to insert images alt tags. This text help search engines to find out on which keyword your image should be ranked. This is the alternative title of the images. If your image is not loaded, then this text will appear beside your image, and adding main keywords in the image alt tags is a good practice of SEO.
Warning: Don’t put just main keyword in all images.
It’s hard to rank on google first page results on bloggers than WordPress. So, you should do each and everything which can admire search engines. Image optimization means that you have to make sure that the image size is fast loadable. For this, you should convert your images into jpeg files and then convert them into web files from Webp File converter.
Web image files are the new generation image format, and google also promotes these file format images. The benefit of using these images is that they can load faster than other file formats. It will increase your blog’s loading speed.

This is the thing I should have talked about before because if you want to do proper blogger SEO, then you should follow each instruction I am giving to you. I have personally analyzed that the search description does not come into search results. Instead of this, your post’s first 150 words will appear as a description, and google will also consider those lines for your rankings.
I will recommend you to add main keyword as starting paragraph of your article.
Labels are just like categories in your blog. Many people say that they add related keywords in labels, but it’s wrong. This is only a section where you can create a category in your blog, and Google will also index it. Summing up posts into different categories can boost up your blog’s overall SEO. You just have to do it naturally.
Do backlinks still work?
Yes, for sure.
If you want to rank higher in google search results as soon as possible, you have to get some backlinks from google’s trusted sites.
Many people start their blogging career and bought backlinks from big sites but gone wrong. That’s because they do not know where to invest.
If you want to get backlinks, go on social media like Quora, Facebook, Twitter, and tinder, from where you can get backlinks quickly. Never try to link your site with illegal content sites. It can be harmful to your rankings.
Writing guest posts is also the most significant way to get juicy backlinks. For this, you just have to contact a site owner whose website is doing well in google’s search results and ask him that you write a post for him. Meanwhile, you have to put almost 1 link of your site in the post and send it to the owner. If the owner likes your post, he will definitely give you that backlink.
When you think about creating your blog, please create its social media accounts because it impacts SEO a lot.
I started blogging in 2017 when there was low competition for many keywords, and it was easy to rank on google. I remember that I got 6k views only from 1 blog post in 1st week of my blogging career.
So, what I did to get higher ranked in higher results?
When I wrote my 1st article, I didn’t even know to write English. I used to write a sentence in Urdu language and then translate it into English, and it took me almost 3 hours to write my 1st article of almost 300 – 400 words. I just added words related to my post and then shared them on social media sites.
For the 1st 3 days, I got 200 views per day from Facebook and quora, but google ranked my blog on top results after this.
It indicates that when you share your site’s link on social media, people tend to click on it and read it. It sends positive signals to the search engines that the visitors are interested in reading my post. So, Google will definitely rank it on the main query and also for other queries.
This is what you have to do when you think that you have written a reasonable amount of articles. Because many people just started blogging, and they bought a premium fast loading theme. This thing only works when you have something on your blog to show up in search results. So, in starting a blog, don’t buy a theme. Just use free themes from Gooyabitemplates.
But suppose your site owns enough articles, and your pages show up in the top ten queries. This is the right time to increase your page loading speed to take your website in higher search queries.
I am using a free blogger template, and its loading speed is 98%, according to GTMetrix.
We have worked on my blog to boost up its loading speed. I have deleted the unused CSS, java scripts, and the most important thing is that I am using web file format images. These images are so faster for loading perspectives.
This is the thing you can do if you have some coding skills in CSS and javascript. For this, you have to copy the CSS of your blog and paste it into any of the editors. Open google chrome -> press F12, then click on three dots -> more tools and select the coverage option and reload the blog. Then you will see the code in the coverage section and select your blogs CSS URL like mine is in the image;
You just have to remove the code highlighted with those red lines in your text editor and then again paste it from where you copied the code.
I am sure that it will boost your blog’s speed, and your blog will show up in the topmost search queries.
